2 Bent Rods began operating in December 2004.

We now offer a range of progams, clinics, events and birthday parties for people of all ages and abilities. Our aim is to introduce people into the family friendly sport of fishing. We teach safe, resposible and sustainable fishing practices from beaches around south east Queensland.

4 1/2hr Introductory program - suitable for 4yrs - adults.
This program teaches you enough to take yourself fishing.

Family of 4 $120
($20 per extra child) 

• Bait Gathering (with bait net & cast net or yabby pumping)
• Knot Tying & Fishing Rigs ( using a safety device)
• Reading The Beach ( learn what marks are left by different fish)
• Rod Casting using Alvey Reels
• Bait Presentation
• Bait Fishing
• Sun, Beach & Marine Saftey
  

 Plus everone who attends receives a fishing sample bag & to keep the kids intrested we play games throughout the day with various fishing prizes awarded

2 Day Clinic -  9am - 3pm - suitable for 8yrs - adult.
Learn everything you need to know about shore based fishing.

$200 per person

Birthday Parties

$300 for up to ten children ($20 per extra child)

Very, Very Popular. 

The birthday child receives a present from 2 Bent Rods (usally a fishing rod and reel)

Every child receives a party bag with fishing goodies inside.

Catering available (Sea food BBQ)

Something different than all the other parties. Get the kids outdoors and having fun with thier mates. Book early to avoid disapointment as the week ends are booking out very fast
