Your family will have discussions about beach, marine & personal safety as well as sustainability and rubbish in our waterways.

You will all learn to catch your own bait with a bait net and yabby pump. Fish caught in the net are identified, you will be told how to safely handle them. We also help you to identify any dangerous fish caught.

You will learn to tie hooks using a hookeze as well as bait presentation. Casting is done on Alvey Reels. You will also be shown how to read the beach. Hopefully you will hook a fish.

We show your family how to use the equipment and then we hand it over and correct your technique.

We have competitions throughout the session such as best manners, casting competition, first fish caught etc.,

Each family will receive a bag with information on fishing rules & regulations, magazines & more.

You only need to bring a hat, drink, sunscreen & snack if required. We supply all the fishing gear needed for the day.

We are also running a kids program at the same time.
This is for kids aged 4 and above
Cost: $55 per child (unaccompanied)

Alvey 6ft Rod & Reel Combo (500b) $65.00.
Can be re-spooled for left handers.

All products can be brought to your lesson.
