2 Bent Rods, the story so far:

2 Bent Rods came about after disscussions with industry leaders such as Mr Bruce Alvey from Alvey Reels Australia and Dave "Nugget" Downie from Talking Fishing on Brisbane radio 4BC 1116 am and www.Nuggetfishing.com.au.

2 Bent Rods began operating in December 2004. The first class was at Thompsons Beach at Victoria Point. Initial lessons where aimed at teaching kids the basics of safe and responsible shore based fishing practices.  Our most mature student ( 92 year old "Eddie" who wanted to learn to impress his new lady friend) made us realise that there was a need for a wide range of programs with every thing from Beginners courses, Birthday Parties,Cooking the Catch, One Day Clinic, Kids Clinics, Fishing Comps, Blokes, Beer 'N' Bass Weekends & Team Building Days.

2 Bent Rods has also been on channel 9's "Brisbane Extra" & channel 7's "The Great South East"

We now offer Vacation Care centres the opportunity to have 2 Bent Rods run mini clinics or they can bring the kids on excursion to the beach to learn to fish.
